Biography
Born in 1964, son of a renowned Theologian Allama Al-Razwi ul-Murtazwi (Burewala , Vehari, Punjab ) Pakistan, graduated in 1986, got Masters in (Isl St. Arabic. & English 1987-93, and completed Ph. D 1993- 2003. Selected as Lecturer in 19992, as Assistant Professor in 20004, Associate Professor in 2006, as Professor in 2012. Worked at University of the Punjab Lahore (1992-1995) FC College Lahore ( 1997-2003) Riphah International University (WISH Campus) Islamabad (2004-2013) Lahore Leads University (2013-2016) and at GIFT University Gujranwala (2016- 2021). Started working at National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Islamabad, in March 2021, as Dean Faculty of Social Sciences & Professor of Islamic Thought and Culture . Ph. D in socio-political thought, along-with Masters in English Language & Literature , Islamic Studies, and Arabic Language & Literature, has taught Philosophy and Research, Socio-political Thought, Comparative Religion & Islamic Philosophy for more than twenty eight years, at different institutions of higher studies. My areas of specializations are Comparative Religion, Islamic Socio-political Thought, Post-modernism and Islam.
Given many talks on TV channels regarding social and religious issues and presented variety of papers in research seminars, training workshops, national and international conferences. Having more than thirty five research papers published , authored seven books. Have produced more than hundred M. Phil. /Ph.D. scholars to produce their research in the fields of Islamic Thought/philosophy, Comparative Religion and Socio-political Thought. Have been member /secretary of committees on quality research at HEC Pakistan, for fifteen years. Have worked in devising syllabi and courses for BS, MS, and Ph. D degree programs, being Member Board of Advanced Studies & research, in more than ten universities of the country.
